October 25, 2007: Acting Secretary of Agriculture Charles F. Conner today announced the launch of MyPyramid for Moms, new web pages for MyPyramid.gov specifically designed for pregnant and breastfeeding women.  These new web pages, which can be found at http://www.MyPyramid.gov, provide individualized nutrition guidance to meet the needs of pregnant and breastfeeding women.  The MyPyramid for Moms nutritional guidance tool was developed by the USDA Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion in conjunction with the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).  The website's content, developed in cooperation with the Department of Health and Human Services, provides nutrition guidance for pregnant and breastfeeding women that is consistent with the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
